The Moberg lecture on Tuesday, February 8 is part of a series of five lectures presented by The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of the City of New York, celebrating its 225th anniversary. The Lecture series is sponsored by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and the NY City Department of Cultural Affairs. Location is 20 West 44th Street (Between 5th and 6th Avenue) NYC.
Curator for the series is Jean Wiart, famous for his many contributions to ornamental metalwork. The aim of the Artisan Series is to promote the work and art of skilled craftsmen and to assist in ensuring their unique knowledge is understood and carried forth for generations to come.
